Haunted, Lost and Wanted is a co-curated proposal by Fanny Lambert and Valérie Fougeirol which stages Stephanie Solinas’ most recent work.
The artist who returned from a one-year residency at the Villa Medici in Rome to explore the texture of the Miracles in a project called « L’inexpliqué » (The Unexplained), - accomplishes a second investigation on our identities and believes which opened with « Le Pourquoi Pas ? » (The Why Not?) where the quest became a path towards invisible presences in Iceland (2014).
During the Fall, the artist rejoins a residency at Headlands, San Francisco, to accomplish the third chapter « Devenir Soi-Même » (Become One Self), stated as a long road drive from Sedona to San Francisco, in the Summertime of 2017.
Galerie Gradiva
In addition to its expertise and specialization in Modern Art and Impressionism, the Galerie Gradiva has opened its program to Contemporary Art with a dedicated program.
Fanny Lambert
Fanny Lambert, art critic and curator, is in charge of this presence with an average of three exhibitions per year. Willing to create a dialogue between the different temporalities, she aims to put on view objects usually considered only in a traditional white cube. Here, the contrast betxeen a contemporary art show and the muffled case of the gallery is at stake, as well as the desire to accompagny the young creation and emerging art.
