By exploring the essence of photography, the collective exhibition On donne du grain aux poules attempts to go beyond the visual aspects to question its material and perceptual components. Photography, not only as a visual art, but also as a process deeply rooted in chemistry, perception, and physical interaction. By pushing the traditional boundaries of photography, the exhibition seeks to break free from classical methods and analyze contemporary experimentations to reveal the diversity of mechanisms behind the photographic image.
On donne du grain aux poules raises the question of the limits of what the human eye can capture, examining illusion, distortion, and fragmentation. Challenging established notions of representation encourages the viewer to rethink the very nature of photography through the deconstruction of the photographic process and to revisit the issue of medium.
« Any event, plastic or historical can turn against itself to the point of signifying the exact opposite of what was the original intent. »
